Carved Oak Library Desk Flemish Leather

This is an attractive heavily carved oak mid 19th Century (c.1860) English antique library table. The top inset with a gilt tooled tan leather writing surface and carved foliate edge. The frieze with lion mask and foliate carving encompassing two fitted drawers. Raised on carved barley twist supports, stretchers and scrolling legs carved with mask motifs terminating in castors.
