Writing Desk Maple & Co. Inlaid Mahogany Leather Victorian

This is a rare late 19th Century (c.1890) Victorian period writing desk by Maple & Co. The rectangular top with inset gilt tooled leather writing surface, ebony and satinwood strung borders (imperfections). Fitted an arrangement of five graduating drawers with inlaid satinwood strung drawers fronts, ring pull handles, clean interiors, dovetailed jointing and raised on fine slender reeded tapering legs terminating in brass capped castors.
