Writing Table Carved Mahogany Horses Console

The rectangular concave canted cornered top having carved horse heads with panelled rails framed by gilded ribbon twisted borders and supported on scroll carved cabriole legs with carved hoof feet. There are some fairly deep scratches to the top and chips to the points of the carved horses ears. England, circa 1940
